FRE-FLO is a non-chemical technology that works harmoniously with nature and is the most reliable hard water treatment available.

Comparing hard water vs soft water, the unit does not put anything into the water, nor take anything out.  It does change the form of hard calcium carbonate scale to a soft, very tiny form so smooth it stops sticking to the surfaces. The change in form vastly changes the function of calcium carbonate and the condition of the water.

Scientists know it is possible for an element (like calcium carbonate) to remain the same element, yet have a vastly different crystalline structure and form.

A clear example of this duality is the element carbon.  In one case, the element carbon is the hardest substance on earth, called diamond.  In the other case, with the same element carbon in a different form, a lubricant is formed called graphite.  Same element, each 100% carbon, but forming a totally different crystalline structure, with remarkably different functions.

Inside the FRE-FLO™: A Powerful Change of Form and Outcome

Water usually contains calcium ions and carbonate ions (which are, simply stated, basically groups of atoms).

When this water touches a surface (such as in pipes, equipment, and soil pores), the calcium and carbonate ions frequently join together and “precipitate out” of the water as “hard” calcium carbonate that strongly attaches to surfaces as crusty deposits.

As water enters a FRE-FLO™ unit and travels inside, the FRE-FLO™ catalytic core prevents calcium and carbonate ions from forming into hard, scaly calcium carbonate.

Instead, the FRE-FLO™ provides an environment where a very different crystalline structure is created — a “soft,” smooth form of calcium carbonate that no longer tenaciously sticks to surfaces.   Same components – different form.

The soft calcium carbonate created inside the FRE-FLO™ is very tiny (0.0000006 inches in size, much smaller than fine talcum powder), easily washed away in water flowing out of the FRE-FLO™ unit.

What FRE-FLO™ Is Not:   Key Differences

FRE-FLO™ is not a water softener. Water softeners remove beneficial calcium and magnesium, replacing those elements with an increase in sodium or potassium chloride levels, which can be harmful to people, plants, roots, soil, and sewers.

FRE-FLO™ does not use any electrical hook-ups (an attractive safety feature).

FRE-FLO™ has no wires, no grounding, no batteries, does not require you
to use any electrical current whatsoever.

FRE-FLO™ is not a magnet, and is not designed to rely on magnetic fields, nor is it a temporary fix lasting only a few hours.

FRE-FLO™ is not a filter. By itself, it is not intended to remove anything, but rather to scientifically change hard calcium carbonate scale to a soft,
smooth form that no longer is scaly and that no longer easily attaches to surfaces.

FRE-FLO™ is not a sacrificial anode. Instead, FRE-FLO™ is a strong, nonsacrificial anode that does not rely on metal dissolving or corroding in order to function
